2023 Projection - Cristian Javier

Breakout season?

No one benefited more from 2022 more than Cristian Javier, who signed a massive new extension in the offseason and now makes $12,800,000 per year.

Just think, this is the guy who couldn’t crack the rotation to start last season and now much more is expected of him.

It will be tough to duplicate 2022’s 2.54 ERA, but what I project isn’t chopped liver either.

I’m dubious of the 6 games projected out of the bullpen, but these numbers are based on a model not what I “think” is going to happen.
