American League West Update
Seattle pulled off a walf-off win over Texas, while the Astros won by a 5-3 score for the second consecutive day in Anaheim.
For Houston, another game off the schedule with a 4.5 game lead means 96.7% odds to win the West per fangraphs.
With the current lead being 4.5 the one caveat that I wrote about still applies.
Here’s the way I look at it (assuming Seattle has the tiebreaker).
As you can see, the Mariners options are dwindling.
