Final ALCS Stats
There are many websites that have/will analyze what happened last night, the series and the season, some in-depth and some with a long string of curse words.
I do have opinions, but would rather let things settle before sharing, and anyway, I don’t think any of them are earth-shaking or revelatory, so they can wait.
In the meantime, here are the final stats from the ALCS.
For those interested in such things, the Astros finished the ALCS with a 5.29 ERA, 5.79 FIP and 5.19 xFIP, while slashing .247/.332/.420 with a .325 wOBA and 108 wRC+.
Thank You - Future of Astros Projections
The plan is to take some time and pursue other projects for the next couple of weeks and recharge, but I have multiple ideas in my head for next season, along with the projections. I’d also be interested in yours, so please feel free to reach out if you have suggestions.
The goal is to provide something different, something unique, that you don’t see on every Astros website or fan page. How that looks and what it entails is what I need to figure out.
Some of the content I provided this year was well received and some not so much. That’s OK. I didn’t like all of it either.
For the thousands that followed along THANK YOU. Seeing the growing interest fueled me to continue despite fracturing my ankle on the way to the July 4 game (I still made it to the game, but had surgery days later).
I plan to be back next season in full force, and back in a few weeks with occasional offseason posts on topics of interest.
Again, your suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.
Thanks for reading!
